It is clear by now that our gods have failed us. Or maybe we have failed them. It depends. Are our gods projections of ourselves or are we projections of our gods. It’s a complex philosophical, theological question. The scholars disagree. Whatever. Either way, the bugs and microbes that manage to survive Mankinds noble and relentless quest for mastery over this planets natural world will need new, better failed gods to worship. This one is for them. I hope they like it.
