My intention when creating The Scarecrow from Jupiter was to create an object I could put in my garden to scare away the cockatoos that were eating my house, at which task it failed miserably, cockatoos being way too smart to fall for such simple tricks. Scientists have recently established that cockatoos are capable of using tools. I have observed cockatoos messing with my cordless, battery powered angle grinder and once the cockatoos figure out how to use that thing we are all in big trouble and my Scarecrow From Jupiter will be of no use when nature turns on us and begins to wipe us from the face of the planet. So much for alien tech coming to our rescue. We are on our own.
